Homemade Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie

 2 unbaked pie crust (See recipe for two crust pie using handi-foil 1 cup sugar)
 ¼ cup cornstarch
 ½ tsp salt
 5 cups pitted fresh tart cherries
 1 tbsp margarine

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and cherries.


Mix well. Spoon into crust, dot with margarine and cover with top crust.


Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until crust is golden.
