Cheese-Bacon Puffs


24 Servings




2 eggs
1 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
2 tsp. grated onion  
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
6 slices white bread  
24 (1 inch) bacon squares

Cooking Instructions:

In small bowl, beat eggs with a fork, add grated cheese, onion and dry mustard.

Stir until well blended.

Trim crust from bread and cut each slice into quarters. Arrange them in pan.

Spoon heaping tsp. of cheese mixture on center of each bread square. Top each with a piece of bacon.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bake for 15 minutes or until bread is toasted and topping is slightly puffed.

Makes 24 servings.
