Berry Coffeecake

Ingredients:

3 cups flour 
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda    
1 cup soft unsalted margarine        
1-3/4 cups sugar       
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla  
1 can blueberry or cherry pie filling            
chopped pecans or walnuts

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix flour and baking soda and set aside. Cream margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

Combine thoroughly with flour mixture. Grease and flour 13 x 9 pan. Pour half of the batter into pan.

Cover with pie filling and remaining batter. Sprinkle nuts on top and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
