Please read these rules before submitting your recipe. By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change these rules or cancel the promotion at any time, or to modify, terminate, or suspend the receiving or recipes should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or impair the administration, security, or submission of entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any human or other error that may occur in the processing of the entries, nor is it responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other computer resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the entry. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the web site; to be acting in violation of these rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries submitted by such methods. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the Contest at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domains associated with the submitted e-mail addresses.

Submission Restrictions. For recipe consideration, the entrant warrants that the submission will not be: (a) defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, bigoted, hateful, violent, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit or offensive; (b) harmful or threaten to harm any person; (c) illegal, or encourage or advocate illegal activity (d) an infringement or violation of any right of a third party, including: (i) any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary or contractual right; (ii) any right of privacy or publicity; or (iii) any confidentiality obligation; (e) commercial or business-related, nor advertise or offer to sell any products or services (whether or not for profit) or solicit others (including solicitations for contributions or donations); and (f) a harmful component, or contain a virus that is designed to impair or damage a website or any connected network, or otherwise interfere with any person or entity's use or enjoyment of a website.  The entrant further warrants that the Submission generally pertains to the designated topic or theme of the Contest and is not antisocial, disruptive or destructive.  Lastly, the Sponsor reserves the right, but disclaims any obligation or responsibility, to (i) refuse to post or communicate or remove any submission that violates these terms of use and (ii) identify any user to third parties, and/or disclose to third parties any Submission or personally identifiable information, when we believe in good faith that such identification or disclosure will either facilitate compliance with laws, including, for example, compliance with a court order or subpoena or help to enforce these terms of use and/or protect the safety or security of any person or property, including the recipe submission. Moreover, we retain all rights to remove Submissions at any time for any reason or no reason whatsoever.

Disputes. Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this submission shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois or the appropriate Illinois State Court located in Chicago, Illinois; (ii) all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with this submission, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Illinois.

Miscellaneous. This submission is governed by the laws of the United States. This submission and all accompanying materials are copyright © 2011 by Hand-Foil Corp. and its affiliates. All rights reserved. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules.

The winner will be selected by an in-house panel of judges to be held within seven (7) business days after quarter ends.  To be eligible for the drawing, entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on the last business day of the quarter. The potential prize recipients will be notified by phone and/or e-mail within three (3) business days following the drawing and may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. If prize is not claimed within 72 hours of notification, or if potential recipient does not meet the eligibility criteria, the potential recipient will be disqualified, and Sponsor will select an alternate potential recipient. Any and all prizes will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) except that the prize will be subject to its manufacturer’s standard warranty (if any). See manufacturer’s documentation provided with the Grand Prize for complete terms and conditions. If any prize is won by a minor in any state where the age of majority is not 18, then itwill be awarded to such minor’s parent or legal guardian who must sign and return all required documentation. Residents of Canada will be required to correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone. If he/she answers the skill-testing question incorrectly, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and time permitting, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate potential Winner shall be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries.

License. By entering a submission, all entrants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to Sponsor, to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries (along with a name credit) in connection with the submission and promotion of the submission, in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: Display at a potential exhibition of recipes; publication of a book featuring select entries. Entrants consent to the Sponsor doing or omitting to do any act that would otherwise infringe the entrant’s “moral rights” in their entries. Sponsor will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use. Additionally, by entering, each entrant grants to Sponsor the unrestricted right to use all statements made in connection with the submission, and pictures or likenesses of entrants, or choose not to do so, at their sole discretion. Sponsor will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.

Release. By entering a submission, each entrant agrees (for himself or herself and his or her heirs) to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor, their respective affiliates, and the owners, employees, officers, directors, members, managers, agents, successors, and assigns of each of the foregoing from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with the entrant's, whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
